How to Identify the Cause?

The easiest issue to fix is the wrong thermostat settings. Check your fridge user manual to adjust accordingly. If the issue lies in blocked air vents, rearrange your food. You may have to store the most cold-sensitive foods on the middle shelves instead of the top or bottom sections.
Your fridge may require regular defrosting. The ice builds up from condensate due to warm air entering the fridge. The ice may prevent the door from closing properly and clog the coils. The vents work harder to maintain the temperature and even more ice builds up as a result. To defrost a fridge, you will have to turn it off for a short period. If the condenser coils of your fridge are dirty, the fridge will lose efficiency and the temperature may drop due to overcompensation. To remove the dirt, disconnect your appliance from the power supply and turn it around to reach the coils. Vacuum or brush the dust that has accumulated on the coils. Some dirt may require additional cleaning with a cloth. When the condenser coils are clean, return the fridge to its original position and switch it on.
